AUXIO is the visitor-facing demonstration of ARCHAI — sovereign AI infrastructure that supports conversations with cultural objects using verified source data. Responses are grounded in the available record and designed to acknowledge uncertainty. Local inference runs on a single Mac Studio in Melbourne.
Each object answers from its Obtext (Object Context) — a structured data format containing only verified metadata. When you ask something outside its record, it says so.
The live object count is loading from the wider ARCHAI research corpus of 19 connected museum, heritage, public-art, and cultural-data sources. Published AUXIO pages pass the current media-availability and rights gates; every page retains its source, attribution, and item-level legal status. Source inclusion does not imply institutional partnership or endorsement.
1. Obtext grounding — 2. Safety wrapper — 3. Token limits — 4. Prompt injection blocking — 5. Graceful uncertainty
AUXIO is access-method agnostic. The same object page works via NFC tag, QR code, hyperlink, or Bluetooth beacon. The object speaks regardless of how you arrived.
