What is this?

AUX.IO is a live demonstration of ARCHAI™ — sovereign AI infrastructure that lets museum objects speak for themselves using verified institutional data. No hallucination. No cloud APIs. Everything runs on a single Mac Studio in Melbourne.

Each object answers from its Obtext (Object Context) — a structured data format containing only verified metadata. When you ask something outside its record, it says so.

The live object count is loading across Museums Victoria, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Victoria and Albert Museum, Art Institute of Chicago, Cleveland Museum of Art, and Rijksmuseum. AUX.IO is now being aligned with the full live ARCHAI collection rather than a small demo subset.

Obtext format

{ "identity": "1866 Proof Sovereign", "institution": "Museums Victoria", "registration": "NU 23511", "materials": "Gold, proof strike", "date": "1866", "maker": "Royal Mint, Melbourne", "significance": "Earliest proof sovereign...", "constraints": [ "I do not know about cryptocurrency", "I cannot discuss objects outside my record", "My knowledge ends at my last verified update" ] }

Five-layer hallucination prevention

1. Obtext grounding — 2. Safety wrapper — 3. Token limits — 4. Prompt injection blocking — 5. Graceful uncertainty

Access methods

AUX.IO is access-method agnostic. The same object page works via NFC tag, QR code, hyperlink, or Bluetooth beacon. The object speaks regardless of how you arrived.
